Maxine Funke (NZ)· CJA (NZ)
New Zealand outsider Maxine Funke crafts a deceptively simple, homespun universe of tangled DIY folk and weightless, pastoral stillness. Heartbreaking vocal shimmer crystallizes in hushed acoustic clarity. https://maxinefunke1.bandcamp.com/ Operating far out on the fringes of the New Zealand underground, Clayton Noone's (CJA) music exists as a sequence of tape-hiss-crusted sketches where mournful, skeletal acoustic fingerpicking, rusty drum loops, and wordless vocal exhalations collide with golden static and spoken-word fragments. https://cjathepirate.bandcamp.com/music
